Your new companyThis government agency based in the Hills District is looking for a Payroll Officer to join their team on a 5-month temporary basis. This organisation operates on the interstate level and has a significant impact on the local communities it functions within.Your new roleReporting to the Payroll Manager and situated within the Payroll Business Unit, this role is responsible for providing payroll support to the team. The duties of the role will include:Providing payroll services and processing of electronic timesheets including allowances, overtime, leave etc.Payroll administration duties including scanning and filing of payroll data.Building relationships and providing customer service pertaining to payroll issues.Assisting with corporate responsibilities and working with the team.What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills/requirements:Minimum 2+ years of end-to-end payroll experience.Experience with high volumes of data entry.High focus on attention to detail and high accuracy.Previous systems experience with ADP and/orCM9 is highly advantageous.Exceptional written and oral communication skills.Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.What you'll get in returnIn addition to an industry-competitive hourly rate/salary, $36-$38 plus super pending experience you will be given the opportunity to broaden your skill set and experience within the government industry.
