About the Company  This successful and well-known company are looking for a Payroll Officer with some experience to join the Payroll and HR team.
One of Australia's leading mining companies, with a global reputation.
The continued growth of the organisation has resulted in this newly created position.
About the Role The Payroll Officer will be looking to own their role and be a reliable team member who can process accurate payment of salaries and wages.
The HR and Payroll team are a collaborative team with a supportive nature.
Reconcile between the Payroll System and T&A system.
Ensure accuracy of PAYG payments to the ATO.
Maintain payroll records and accurate recording of award information.
Manage New employees, Termination of employees and annual leave.
Responsible for the accurate reporting of annual salaries to the ATO Continually improve the processes and operations of the team.
The Ideal Candidate The Payroll Officer will enjoy a hands-on processing role, getting involved in all areas of payroll.
You will ideally bring the following; Experience of processing payroll.
Have good communications skills.
Bring a customer service approach.
Ability to help improve processes.
