We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Payroll Officer to join our team in our Head Office at Bowen Hills. This is a part time role – 4 days per week. You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth payroll processing.
About the Role Payroll Processing – Accurately process payroll for 350 plus employees using Employment Hero payroll.Compliance – Ensure adherence to Industrial Awards, workplace agreements, and legislative requirements, including tax and superannuation obligations.Reporting – Generate and review payroll reports, address discrepancies, and provide insights for payroll-related matters.Employee Queries – Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits and deductions with professionalism and confidentiality.Record Keeping – Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including leave entitlements, salary adjustments, and other employee data.System Maintenance – Oversee the smooth operation of payroll systems, implement updates, and troubleshoot issues.Collaboration – Work closely with HR and Finance teams to support broader organisational objectives and ensure seamless payroll integration with other systems.Adaptability – Ability work independently and mange time effectively.About You Experience with Employment Hero payroll or similarStrong analytical skills and high attention to detailExcellent organisational and time management skillsAbility to handle sensitive information with confidentialityCurrent Paid Working with Children Check (Blue Card)What We Offer Join a leading not-for-profit organisation in early childhood educationCompetitive wages Uniforms providedDiscounted childcare fees for permanent staffAdditional Wellbeing and Service Anniversary Day (on top of your leave entitlements)Two weeks closure over ChristmasAccess to Employee Assistance Programs for ongoing staff wellbeingAt Lady Gowrie QLD, we are committed to building an inclusive workforce.
