About Our Client Our client is a successful NFP based in Melbourne's south-east. They pride themselves on providing leading support to older Victorians, creating strong support services for all residents. As a leader in their industry, our client is looking for a committed payroll officer to join the team on a temporary and part-time basis and hit the ground running to assist with the needs of the team.
Job Description Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Conducting end-to-end payroll functions for offices, efficiently running to designated deadlines. Recording payroll data in required programs and conducting accurate fortnightly payment runs. Upholding employee records and answering all enquiries related to payroll. Undertaking monthly journals, ensuring full reconciliation, and assisting with end of month payroll duties. Assisting with any additional ADHOC tasks that may be required by the organisation. The Successful Applicant We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer who has the ability to start immediately in order to hit the ground running for this temporary role.
Key competencies listed below: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in addition to strong customer service skills. Experience with EBAs and managing a fortnightly pay-run. Must be immediately available. Someone who is able to adapt quickly and be open to learning new skills. At least 2 years' experience in an end-to-end Payroll officer role.
