Salary Range: $53,806 - $166,893 + Attractive Superannuation The iSTAR assists Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people interested in working in DVA. DVA is seeking to engage Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander persons for ongoing and non-ongoing employment with the Department. Non-ongoing opportunities are roles offered for a specified term.

Eligibility Under section 22(8) of the Public Service Act 1999, employees must be Australian citizens to be employed in the Australian Public Service (APS). All applicants external to DVA offered employment will be required to successfully undergo a pre-engagement screening check, even if they have a security clearance. The screening check is conducted in accordance with the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework requirements. The iSTAR is exclusively open to applicants who identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person. The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Baseline Vetting (AGSVA) security clearance. Please note, this register is an expression of interest only.
