Comlek are seeking an experienced Payroll and HR Officer based in our Brisbane Office.

The role responsibilities
HR responsibilities:
Produce employment contracts and process new starters; Co-ordinate and undertake employee activities in collaboration with managers; Maintain employee records and files; Manage the process of maintaining up-to-date alerts for company license renewals, employee contract renewals, service agreements variations, and rate increases; Payroll responsibilities:
Undertake timely and accurate payroll processing, ensuring Award compliance, Superannuation compliance, and ensuring the relevant loadings, deductions, and adjustments are made; Process payments via online banking; Undertake annual wage assessments; Maintain oversight of leave balances and ensure leave payments are made in line with state legislation or the appropriate instrument; Provide assistance on pay-related matters to employees as required; Undertake weekly/monthly reporting requirements.
Experience and skills
To be considered for this role, you will need:
Proven experience in similar payroll/HR positions; Proven experience undertaking annual wage analysis and reconciliations; Sound knowledge and experience of payroll systems and Modern Awards; High level of computer literacy including computerized accounting packages and MS Office products; Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written); Strong organisational and time management skills; Strong ability to problem solve and prioritise tasks effectively; Meticulous attention to detail; High level of adaptability/flexibility coupled with a keenness to learn.
