• Fulltime continuing role north Brisbane
• SCHADS (SACS) level 5.1 based on exp + super + salary sacrifice
• Tertiary quals in HR, Bus or Management + exp in NFP preferred
This wonderful, community-based advocacy organisation has been reaching out to those in need for decades. Stable and well-funded, it provides older people and individuals with disabilities, their families and carers with the knowledge, support and advocacy that helps them make better decisions across many aspects of their lives. The organisation is growing.
This is a multi-faceted position that will resonate with a payroll/HR specialist, who is happy to 'roll up the sleeves' and pitch in whenever and wherever needed.
With a staff complement of around 140 individuals at present – all of whom need to be paid. Deriving from lots of professional groups, these people work variable hours under the SCHADS award, which makes for an intricate payroll!
But if you're The Expert go-to payroll person, who gets a real professional buzz out of jiggling, juggling, sorting, organising, activating and recording a payroll of this intricacy, then this could be the new job you've been hoping for.

You bring current and expansive knowledge of all applicable legislation, including superannuation, taxation and relevant employment law, as well as a finely-honed ability to interpret awards, agreements and legislation.
An "Employment Hero" expert, you are self-reliant in your expertise and information-avid, you love to continually build on your knowledge base within your payroll specialty.
Confident in your capabilities, well organised and unflappable, you're a friendly, hands-on worker with a strong team spirit. You'll always lend a hand, and it's imperative in this role that you are a kind, caring and compassionate people-person.
