Whitehouse Group Qld Pty Ltd – Rockhampton QLD Permanent Part-Time (approx. 30 hours per week) Rockhampton Are you detail-oriented, passionate about accuracy, and driven to ensure that every employee is paid correctly and on time? We are seeking a dynamic Payroll Administrator to join our team based out of Rockhampton office and take ownership of our payroll process. In this role, you will be an essential part of our operations, ensuring that payroll runs smoothly while maintaining compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
ABOUT US: WGQ provides civil and site services support to the mining, civil construction and renewable energy industries in Queensland.

THE ROLE: Completing the weekly staff & wages payroll (approx. 130 employees) on time, accurately & efficiently Completing associated payroll tasks - e.g. taxation, superannuation, leave, allowances, reconciliations & reporting Attending to employee payroll-related enquiries & queries Provide general HR administration support to HR Advisor Assist with onboarding new employees ABOUT YOU: You'll be an experienced administration professional with previous payroll experience, preferably in a similar-size organisation. Attention to detail, professionalism and discretion will be key traits, as are your strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent literacy and numeracy skills. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with accounting software (e.g. Reckon, MYOB etc). Excellent time management and organisational skills. Qualifications in Business Administration or Accounting would be highly regarded, but not essential. Ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a close-knit office team.
