Payments Support Officer - Finance

Full time ABOUT THE ROLE This position reports to the Senior Treasury Officer and works closely with all staff and organisations that provide goods and services to AMSA or that AMSA provides goods and services to.
You will be responsible for:
Prepare and process creditor invoices in compliance with AMSA policies.Manage banking payment runs through the Finance system and online banking portals.Manage AMSA's international payments and telegraphic transfers in compliance with banking regulation.Manage payment related queries from internal and external stakeholders.Credit note processing and reconciliation.SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE To be successful in this position, you will have the following skills and experience:
Sound experience and knowledge of accounting procedures and systems related to Financial Operations.
Demonstrated experience in an accounting related role within a commercial, government environment, including experience with payments and accounting information management systems.
Ability to respond to financial inquiries by gathering, analysing, summarising and interpreting data.
Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to effectively prioritise work in a high volume working environment.
Good verbal and non-verbal communication skills.Proficient working knowledge of spreadsheets.For more information about this role, please refer to the position description.
