The Real Time Payments (RTP) & Payments as a Service (PaaS) team is a critical part of the Payments Domain.
As a Product Analyst, you will play a pivotal role within the RTP & PaaS Product Management team, contributing to the daily management, development, and optimisation of the NPP product and the underlying processes. You will report into a Senior Product Manager in the team.

You will utilise your investigation and analytics skills to provide data-driven insights and inform on product decisions. You will also leverage your stakeholder management skills in meetings or workshops to obtain a desired outcome. In delivering on your responsibilities and working in collaboration with the NPP Product team, your skills will be instrumental in achieving the team's goal to drive and deliver on our planned initiatives, contributing more broadly to the Real Time Payments (RTP) Crew strategy.

The New Payments Platform (NPP) launched in 2018 to improve the speed, availability, and convenience of payments. It enables customers to send and receive data-rich payments between financial institutions in near real-time. NPP includes Fast Payments, PayID, and PayTo as well as collaborative innovation via our channel partners.

Responsibilities Support Product Management activities, taking the opportunity to lead or improve where possible. Assist with Change Management requirements to continuously improve the product offering and processes to facilitate the overall customer experience. Support development of product roadmap and/or development of new product features to address an identified market need or opportunity or industry obligation. Liaise with our business and technical stakeholders to understand prioritisation and drive delivery timelines or required outcomes. Assist with end-to-end Product team deliverables, which include customer journey mapping, addressing risks, compliance, or customer experience requirements. Assist with maintaining a healthy Product Backlog that highlights the business and customer outcome or benefit, as well as customer or business impact while in Backlog and not prioritised. Excellent verbal communication skills - ability to negotiate, influence, and represent on behalf of the Product team or the Group's views. Assist with change management as required, with a strong consideration for all stakeholders, noting we provide solutions/services to both Retail and Business banking segments. Perform Analyst/Investigation tasks required for a variety of reporting, investigation, complaint/risk management, and other insight gathering activities. Assist with monitoring the marketplace while paying particular attention to competitors. Qualifications & Experience required Values driven with a great CAN do attitude. Willingness to learn new things and work in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in product management or relevant Analyst experience. Ideally has exposure or knowledge of NPP payment products. Strong verbal and written communications. Prior experience or knowledge of payment products, policy and systems (including our channels), and broader payments industry.
