The hospital is a contemporary 488 bed facility comprising of 60% public and 40% private beds. Providing a wide range of health services to the local community, including Surgery, a 50 bed Emergency Department, Intensive Care, Birthing, Paediatrics, Cardiac, Mental Health, Dialysis, Cancer Centre and Outpatients.
NBH has 13 operating theatres, one hybrid/cardiac catheter theatre, two Catheter Laboratories and four endoscopy procedure rooms, all supported by a critical care unit which includes two intensive care wards.

About the Role
The main function of the part time ED Clerk is to ensure efficient and effective registration of all patients that present at the Emergency Department of Northern Beaches Hospital, greeting and welcoming patients and visitors as soon as they arrive at the ED reception desk, directing them to the appropriate area or person, or personally attending to their needs.
This is a 24/7 service and the role will be required to work on a rotating 24/7 roster.
Ensure reception desk is kept tidy and presentable and is attended to at all times.
