We are excited to be looking for a part time Paralegal to assist our busy legal team based in our Pyrmont Studios. Ideally, you will be able to work 3 days per week. This role will suit someone currently studying their Law Degree who has an interest in the Broadcast Media/Entertainment Industry. As the Paralegal you will work closely with the Senior Legal Counsel and Legal Counsel on a day-to-day basis as well as the broader business. More specifically you will assist with: Responses to complaints and compiling data reports related to complaints Preparation and review of terms and conditions for trade promotions Advising the business on legal risks and compliance requirements for radio campaigns, events, projects and competitions Preparing basic commercial contracts for the business Legal research across a broad range of media law related practice areas (including intellectual property, music licensing, privacy law, advertising, social media, discrimination law) Company Secretarial and regulatory filings You will be energetic, pro-active and results-driven with a strong ethical approach and attention to detail. You will be passionate about the media industry but even more passionate about working in a place which does things differently.
