Join our Visy Paper Mill team in Gibson Island, one of five Visy Recycle Pulp & Paper mills located across Australia.
About the role As a Paper Mill Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring the efficient operation of our paper manufacturing equipment.
This position involves working on a rotating 12-hour shift roster to support continuous 24/7 operations.

Willingness to learn and be mechanically competent in safe operation of the manufacturing equipment. Assimilate technical and complex information and use these to optimise productivity. Conduct quality assessments on the process and finished product. Comply with all WHS and environmental procedures. Problem solves technical aspects of the process. What you will bring to the team Mature attitude to work environment and conditions. Commitment and adherence to safe work practices Technical aptitude Team member qualities and be able to work in a team environment. Good Communication skills Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position including manual handling which will be performed during shift work. Previous experience working in a paper making or packaging manufacturing environment will be highly regarded. Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
