Panel Member - Public Art Advisory Panel

We have an exciting opportunity for industry and community members to join the Public Art Advisory Panel.
As a member of the panel you have you will have the ability to provide advice and input to the commissioning of public art works and management of the Public Art Collection in line with the Public Art Policy POL 109 and the current Public Art Plan.
Duties of this position will include but are not limited to: Provide expert cultural, artistic and design advice Appraise and make recommendations for the selection of appropriate artists and proposals Provide expert input to the commissioning processes for artworks Report back to Council for endorsement of the recommendations prior to the commissioning of the artwork What you will need to succeed: Understanding of the role of the Panel and details that you consider to be relevant to the Panel.
Relevant Industry Experience/Qualifications.
Live in the Local Government Area.

Assessment of applications will be conducted in accordance with Council's Appointment of organisation community and individual citizen members to Council Committees Policy (POL 117) and reported to Council for consideration and appointment of Panel members in January 2025.
This is a voluntary non-remunerated position with one industry and two community member positions available.
