Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and Repair: Identify and fix mechanical issues in heavy diesel vehicles such as trucks, bulldozers, and excavators.
Routine Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance tasks like oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
Electrical Systems: Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including starters and alternators.
Engine Overhauls: Conduct complete engine overhauls and rebuilds per manufacturer specifications.
Hydraulic Systems: Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems including pumps and cylinders.
Welding and Fabrication: Utilize welding skills to address structural issues and make modifications.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of repairs and services using computerized management systems.
Requirements: Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Diesel Motor Mechanic.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in diesel mechanics or heavy equipment repair.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in diagnostic tools and welding equipment.
Safety Commitment: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
Team Player: Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve goals.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve complex mechanical issues.
Drug Testing: Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test and may be subject to random testing.
Shift Availability: May require night or weekend shifts as needed.
