The Role:Provide client-centered, evidence-based orthotic and prosthetic services for clients, involving effective collaboration with peer services, interdisciplinary teams, and referrers.
Commitment to person-centered care provision for clients and their families.Experienced in the provision of orthotic/prosthetic services including knowledge of current evidence-based orthotic/prosthetic practices in acute and rehabilitation settings.Demonstrated ability to contribute to collaborative practices, and to work effectively with peer disciplines and referrers.The Team:You will work as part of the Royal Hobart Hospital network, working directly with a team of 17. In a hospital setting, this means strong relationships between the multidisciplinary team whom we work alongside and contribute to an outstanding inpatient and outpatient service.
Details of Appointment: Permanent, full-time, day worker (with on-call) position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time, part-time, and casual vacancies.
Salary:$71,441 to $107,878 per annum. Our Employer's 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No.2 of 2022.You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

Eligible for membership with the Australian Orthotic Prosthetic Association. Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People.
