The Role:Provide client-centered, evidence-based orthotic and prosthetic services for clients, involving effective collaboration with peer services, interdisciplinary teams, and referrers. Contribute to the enhancement of client services and quality systems as led by senior clinicians and managers of Orthotic Prosthetic Services Tasmania (OPST).
Key Responsibilities:Commitment to person-centered care provision for clients and their families.Experienced in the provision of orthotic/prosthetic services including knowledge of current evidence-based orthotic/prosthetic practices in acute and rehabilitation settings.Demonstrated ability to contribute to collaborative practices and to work effectively with peer disciplines and referrers.The Team:You will work as part of the Royal Hobart Hospital network, working directly with a team of 17. In a hospital setting, strong relationships exist between the multidisciplinary team, contributing to outstanding inpatient and outpatient service. Together with the wider Tasmanian Orthotics and Prosthetic Service, you will receive support and guidance from an internationally experienced team from Launceston and the state's North West.
Details of Appointment:Permanent, full time, day worker (with on-call) position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Salary:$71,441 to $107,878 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

Eligible for membership with the Australian Orthotic Prosthetic Association. Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People. Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment.
