The Organisational Development (OD) Manager will contribute to the development and implementation of the Healthscope People strategy that is focused on attraction, retention and engagement, leadership and talent, and workforce optimisation.
Opportunity to help shape the employee experience Flexible work options – mix of onsite and WFH Supportive team environment with a focus on continuous improvement The OD Manager will design, implement and evaluate organisational development strategies, programs, solutions and tools to create an engaging and high-performance culture. This position specifically plays a leading role in developing and executing the Healthscope Leadership Academy, and performance and talent management practices across the organisation.
Responsibilities Manage the ongoing development, implementation, evaluation and refinement of the Healthscope Leadership Academy ensuring Healthscope leaders have the mindset and capability to thrive. Design and implement talent and in-role development programs to cultivate and enhance leadership capabilities across all levels of the organisation. Manage the implementation and further refinement of the performance and talent management framework and processes to ensure Healthscope has a strong and robust pipeline of future leaders. Provide high-quality advice and coaching to P&C Business Partners and senior leaders across the employee lifecycle, with specific expertise in leadership, talent and performance. Collaborate with external partners, industry experts and professional networks to stay abreast of best practices, and implement these where it makes sense to do so. Evaluate and continuously improve OD programs of work across the employee lifecycle; recommending solutions that balance business needs, corporate requirements and best practices. Use metrics and data analytics to assess the impact of leadership, talent, performance and other OD initiatives through robust approaches to evaluation and use this evidence to continuously improve initiatives. Criteria Proven experience in a similar role, with a track record of driving impactful initiatives. Demonstrable success in building trust-based relationships and partnerships with key internal and external parties that drive strong business outcomes. Strong project management and delivery expertise in a fast-paced and complex environment with the ability to problem solve and balance competing priorities. Strong facilitation, coaching and consulting skills with the ability to listen, ask open ended and thought-provoking questions and offer advice when needed. A proven track record of partnering with and coaching managers to deliver enterprise-wide programs that enhance capability, engagement and performance sustainably and effectively. Experience identifying people issues, through robust analysis and recommending and implementing solutions to close identified gaps. A high standard of verbal and written communication skills for a variety of audiences, including senior leaders and executives. · Tertiary qualifications or higher in Psychology, Human Resources Management, Organisational Development or a related field.
