ABOUT YOUR TEAM
The Statewide Recycling Processing team is responsible for receiving, validating, blocking, warehousing, loading and dispatching used beverage containers.
There is a strong focus on safety in our operation.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
The primary responsibilities of the Statewide Recycling Operations Supervisor are to ensure the Production and Warehouse facility operates safely and efficiently with high levels of people engagement and culture, accuracy, and strong housekeeping standards.
Safety and wellbeing should be at the forefront of everything that we do.
Your working day will start at 7 am through to 3:30 pm Monday to Thursday and 7 am to 3 pm on Fridays, with all legislative breaks included.
Additional hours may be required with prior approval from the manager.
Weekend work may also be required from time to time with prior notice.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Promoting our safety culture, recording incidents, identifying hazards, and monitoring WH&S procedures through the CCEP safety systems.Managing Contractors and their H&S compliance.Consultation, Training, Competency, and adherence to SWP's with Sign off/Authorisation of Checklists.Creating a positive and engaging team culture.Clear communication with direct reports and senior managers.Staff support and direction according to daily priorities.Working on Continuous improvement through consultation and innovation.Managing team productivity and KPI's.Regular inspections of work practices.Maintaining accurate & on-time records.Managing internal collection contractors' standards.LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU!
Must Haves: Demonstrated supervisory skills.Knowledge of processing and logistics processes.Process driven.Ability to drive results through strong relationships.A track record of partnering and engaging with your team.Effective communication skills.Ability to identify business opportunities and improvements.Strong safety leadership.Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Beneficial: WH&S cert IVLogistic and Warehousing certMin 5 years' Experience in people managementTechnology savvyExperience in change management.Mechanically minded advantageous.Qualifications: Forklift License is RequiredFirst Aid & CPR (favourable but not essential)5 years' experience in managing teams in a production environment.WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
