What does the job look like? Linfox Intermodal is looking for a passionate and dedicated Operations Supervisor to join our Rail team based in West Melbourne VIC. This is an opportunity for an established supply chain professional to develop their career in a role that is responsible for transport operations, labour management and planning, road compliance plus operational and customer service performance. This is a full-time opportunity, shift times will be 12 pm – 9 pm working Monday to Friday. Key areas:
Promoting a safety-first culture ensuring commitment to safety, chain of responsibility and compliance with licensing protocolsProvide transport operational oversight, ensuring appropriate operational KPI's are developed and achieved so that service delivery meets contractual requirementsEnsuring an effective handover is carried out between operational teams onsiteIdentifying, evaluating and addressing transport risks focused on continuous improvementEffective management and development of direct reports and operational teamsPartnership approach to customer relationships facilitating organic growthEnsure that the systems and resources available are fully utilised to provide confidence to our customersAre you the one? Prior experience within the Rail industry highly regardedExcellent stakeholder engagement with an ability to build strong relationshipsAbility to confidently lead, drive outcomes and develop diverse high-performance teamsUnderstanding of financial drivers, cost control and operational budgetingStrong work ethic with a passion for transport/logistics and commitment to continuous improvementAt Linfox, we are passionate about creating an inclusive workplace where people can perform at their best.
