A great opportunity for a transport/logistics professional looking to grow a career in FMCG and aligning themselves to a strong brand in the market.We are looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our Berkeley Vale site in our Retail & Consumer Division. As the Operations Supervisor, you will:Ensure that all daily operations, including rosters, forecasts, and safety standards, are efficiently executed.Supervise and coordinate daily line haul activities, ensuring that all shipments are on schedule and meet customer requirements.Manage the logistics of moving goods and materials, ensuring compliance with transport regulations and customer standards.Oversee the planning and execution of transport routes, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.Lead and motivate a team of up to 20 operational staff, providing direction, training, and support.Act as the primary point of contact for the customer regarding line haul operations, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.About youTo be successful in this role, you will need:3-5 years of experience in transport and logistics operations, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.Experience with line haul operations and managing staff in a FMCG environment.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers, staff, and management.Proficiency in logistics software, route planning, and transport management systems (TMS).Sound understanding of safety regulations and best practices in transport and logistics.If you're ready to bring your transport knowledge, customer centric attitude, and passion for impactful work to a fast-paced industry, we encourage you to apply!Join us and take your career to new heights in the fast-paced world of logistics!What moves you?At Toll, you can help play a vital role in delivering what matters.
