What role will you play? As an operational risk manager, you will partner with Banking and Financial Services teams as part of L1 Risk function to ensure that technology risk is managed effectively, in line with Macquarie's Operational Risk Management Frameworks and associated policies.
You will support the BFS technology team for managing and assessing risk for new product / technology (e.g. Cloud / Artificial Intelligence), facilitate regular Risk & Control Self-Assessment, conduct monthly risk reporting, and regularly initiate and lead conversations with business leaders and risk management colleagues regarding anticipated and emerging issues.
What you offer Experience in working within technology operational risk management and/or audit type environments Experience working with a broad range of stakeholders across global regions and ability to effectively challenge the business Practical understanding of the implementation of risk and control frameworks to manage non-financial risks in highly regulated contexts Strong analytical and communication (verbal and written) skills Ability to think laterally, problem solve and grasp abstract concepts and complex situations.
