Operations Manager Tp Human Capital

TP Human Capital, in conjunction with our client Lower Burdekin Water, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to ensure the reliable distribution of water to valued customers and stakeholders.
As a key member of the executive and senior leadership team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing plans that support the ongoing sustainability of operations while leading a skilled team responsible for maintaining civil works, plant, equipment, and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:   Develop and implement strategic and operational plans to ensure consistent water distribution.
Lead and support the operational team, promoting a positive safety culture.
Manage maintenance and capital works programs to maintain reliable operations.
Oversee budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to enhance profitability.
Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety legislation and company policies.
Drive a performance culture through effective leadership and accountability.
Foster strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
About You:   Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as an Operations Manager, preferably in civil construction or agriculture.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of building cohesive, high-performing teams.
Advanced project management abilities, including budget management and risk assessment.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in managing water distribution systems is highly regarded.
