Job Description McGregor Gourlay is seeking an Operations Manager to join our team in Dorrigo. Reporting to the Branch Manager, this is a permanent, full-time position. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of our business to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
Your main tasks will include:
Leading a team to achieve set targets and objectives Working with the team to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction Monitoring and evaluating performance metrics to identify areas for improvement Collaborating with the team and wider network to streamline operations and resolve any issues that may arise Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations across all operational activities Managing inventory levels to meet customer demand while controlling costs Identifying opportunities for process optimisation and implementing relevant solutions Maintaining clear communication channels with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation Working closely with the Branch Manager in all aspects of business operations Contributing to strategic planning and decision-making processes based on operational insights The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
