Company Overview: Join a dynamic team at DSD, We specialize in Electrical switchboard manufacturing. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our operational processes, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality across all functions.
Key Responsibilities: Manage Overall Operations: Responsible for the effective management of labour, production, and quality control to achieve operational excellence. Human Resource Management: Recruit, select, train, and develop employees. Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and ensure disciplinary actions are carried out when necessary. Customer Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for customer issues related to operations. Collaborate with the operations team to address customer concerns and improve the overall customer experience. Strategic Planning: Contribute to strategic plans by providing operational insights. Develop action plans to improve production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards. Regulatory Compliance: Serve as the company's representative on regulatory issues, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and standards. Process Improvement: Analyze organizational processes, workflows, and equipment layout to optimize efficiency. Implement changes to enhance operational effectiveness. Safety and Compliance: Establish and enforce safety standards and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. Key Skills and Qualifications: Degree qualified with a minimum 5 years of experience in operations management or related area. Strong understanding of manufacturing practices and procedures; electrical knowledge preferred. Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead and direct a team effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities; adept at analysing data and trends to make informed decisions. High level of proficiency in organizational and time management skills; deadline-oriented and capable of handling multiple priorities.
