Salary range: between $124,578- $140,133 per annum depending on skills/experience, + superannuation.
Salary packaging: (up to $15,899 a year, + meal/entertainment benefit of $2,650 a year).
Leave: 5 weeks annual leave per year + 17.5% leave loading.

Position Overview: The Operations Manager will play a critical role in assisting with the management of operational staff and ensuring the efficient functioning of various departments within GKB Impact.
This position requires a strong communicator who can seek, vet and support new commercial opportunities, prepare reports, manage stakeholder relationships, and support the General Manager in recruitment and staff management.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in business operations, grant preparation, business planning and having had exposure to cultural heritage works, land and sea care programs and managing diverse workforces.
Key Responsibilities: Staff Management:Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and management of operational staff.Support department managers in addressing operational challenges and implementing best practices.Business Development:Research, seek, vet and various commercial opportunities.Form relationships, manage procurement of, and support the sustainable growth new opportunities.Reporting and Documentation:Prepare and maintain comprehensive reports on operational performance and project outcomes.Assist in the preparation of grants, ensuring compliance with requirements and deadlines.Strategic Planning:Contribute to the development of business plans by providing operational insights and analyses.Support the General Manager in strategising workflows and identifying areas for operational improvement.Stakeholder Engagement:Engage with internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain positive relationships.Attend meetings with stakeholders, providing operational updates and gathering necessary feedback.Communications:Foster strong internal communications to ensure all staff are informed and aligned with organisational goals.Develop external communication strategies to effectively share GKB Impact's initiatives and successes.General Operations Support:Assist the General Manager and department managers with various operational tasks and projects as required.Monitor operational systems and processes, recommending improvements where necessary.Qualifications: Qualification in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).Minimum of five years' experience in operations management or a similar role, preferably in a nonprofit or community-focused organisation.Strong organisational and multitasking skills with ability to focus on attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.Experience with grant writing and reporting is an advantage.Diversity: To enhance our workforce diversity and support Aboriginal employment, as well as to better meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders, under Section 51 of the Equal Employment Opportunity Act 1984, Aboriginal peoples are encouraged to apply and identify themselves as being of Aboriginal descent.
