Job Description - Operations Manager - Fuels & Engineering (261315) Operations Manager, Fuels & Engineering UGL is seeking an Operations Manager with a strong background in the fuels/energy sector. Based out of our Melbourne office, the role will suit someone who thrives in complex environments, balancing stakeholder engagement, project management, and business growth.
The opportunity Work with major Energy clients such as Santos, Esso, Viva, ATOM, and BP.Operate across 25-30 facilities nationally, with a focus on Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth.Contribute to a business generating around $100M in revenue annually.Leadership for over 250 staff and 150 blue-collar workers.About the role In this role, you will need exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to manage client expectations and ensure smooth operations, particularly when working with demanding clients and joint ventures.
Oversee the Engineering and EPC processes, managing brownfield projects, maintenance teams, and expanding our portfolio in this rapidly growing sector.Manage a geographically diverse team across Perth, Brisbane, and Melbourne, fostering a culture of ownership and driving continuous improvement across projects.Ensure accurate billing and implement cost-saving initiatives, acting as the key financial driver for your line of business.About you We're looking for a seasoned Operations Manager with:
