Our client is looking for an experienced manager to manage their successful mid-tier accounting firm. They place a strong emphasis on client relationships and adding value to business owners and prides themselves on ensuring their clients enjoy all that life has to offer without having to worry about the future as well as providing a great culture for all staff to enjoy.
The Role
Your focus is to ensure the successful day to day management of their Business Advisory & Tax division. This is a senior role in the business and duties include, but are not limited to:
Workflow Management - working with partners identifying issues and implementing processes to improve workflows. Develop and oversee internal policies to ensure all professional obligations are met.
Technology and System Management - participate and be involved in improvements to technology solutions for the business to improve business efficiencies. Systems include XPM, Xero, Practice Ignition, BGL and CAS360.
Training - Maintaining and monitoring success of internal training and mentoring program.
Governance - Investigation of internal issues and complaints ensuring all legal and professional obligations are met. All registers are maintained and updated.
Financial Management - Monitoring and managing accounts team ensuring Client Service team are on top of outstanding invoices and other accounting items.
Other duties as required.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will have previous experience working within a public practice. Ideally, you will also need the following experience:
5 years working within a public practice with a minimum of 2 years working in a management capacity.
Relevant tertiary qualification.
Demonstrated experience in practice management and operational procedures.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Strong computer and Microsoft Office suite experience.
