Vacancy Name Operations Manager ANZFF Vacancy No VN106 Description New Forests seeks a qualified candidate for the position of Operations Manager ANZFF. Reporting into the Operations Director, ANZFF this role is primarily responsible for supporting the operational and strategic management of the Australia New Zealand Forest Fund (ANZFF) assets which is comprised of approximately 85,000 hectares of radiata pine plantation, 110,000 hectares of blue gum plantation, 10,000 hectares of agricultural cropping and the Timberlink sawmilling business. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for: Governance of ANZFF fund assets Manage asset level strategic projects Manage material asset level incidents (including financial, safety, environmental, natural disasters) Financial planning, budgeting, valuation and reporting for specified fund assets ESG performance of specific fund assets Managing the engagement and performance of asset property managers Fund level Portfolio optimisation, via financial performance, governance and assist the management of the fund long term financial model Support the fund acquisition and divestments Organise and conduct investor field tours Compilation of quarterly and Annual reports Qualifications, Experience and Strengths We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications, experience, and strengths: Proven relevant experience (forestry or other primary production) Experience with temperate blue gum plantation and/or radiata pine plantation operations will be well regarded Working knowledge of operational best practice and sustainable forest management standards (i.e. FSC, PEFC) Experience with carbon modelling and voluntary carbon standards will be well regarded Effective communication skills and being able to work cooperatively with a wide range of diverse people Willingness and ability to routinely undertake travel throughout Australia How to Apply We pride ourselves on having a supportive New Forests culture that is inclusive to all and we would love to learn how you can bring your unique skills and experience to our business.
