You're going to help us create seamless operations that result in efficiency for millions of customers.In this role, you'll:Join our Regional Transport Operations Centre, where you will be responsible for operating a range of network and tunnel management systems; and coordinating responses to planned events and unplanned incidents to optimise the customer experience when travelling on the State transport network in Regional NSW.This role will see you work closely with our Transport Management Centre's traffic operations room while focusing on the achievement of team goals and objectives.You will identify and assess unusual congestion and delays, including any impacts to transport corridors or routes. You will also operate control systems for the State network (traffic and tunnel) in regional NSW, including tunnel ventilation, power, fire and drainage systems, and network management devices, such as variable message signs, variable speed limit signs and lane use management signs, to optimise the customer journey experience.We have multiple temporary opportunities available up to 6 month duration, located on site at our McLeods Shoot Regional Transport Operations Centre in Northern NSW. This is a 24/7 operations centre and therefore you will be required to work a rotating roster covering day and night shifts, and often be available on public holidays throughout the year as required.
