About the role
As an Operations Coordinator at Cordel Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth running of our operations. In this full-time position based in Newcastle NSW 2300, you will be responsible for supporting our engineering and delivery teams in processing of manufactured goods and facilitate communications between internal departments.
What you'll be doing Providing administrative support to the operations team to meet the manufacturing demands of the company. Assisting with the coordination of purchases for inventory and projects. Management of inventory stock levels and regular auditing. Track, manage and allocate materials to projects using our MRP software. Support with logistics and freight of finished goods. Supporting the implementation of processes to improve operational efficiency between departments. Contributing to the overall success of the operations team by taking on ad-hoc tasks as needed. What we're looking for Previous experience in an administrative or coordinator role, preferably within a short-run manufacturing business. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders. Strong computer literacy skills (Katana MRP is desirable). A keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently. A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving. What we offer
