About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of the Department/Service. Operations Assistants assist with the provision of patient care in the Peri Operative And Interventional Services (PAIS) areas working as a member of the multidisciplinary team, providing patient support services prior to and following surgery, to assist the patient journey throughout the surgical process

About you:
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Operations Assistant who possess a passion for person centred care.

Selection Criteria:
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent's Health Australia
2. Experience in day-to-day operations of patient support services in a large complex organisation.
3.Demonstrated sound written and oral communication skills.
4. Ability to work within a team environment and independently.
5. Ability to remain motivated and to demonstrate a willingness to learn.
6. Knowledge of manual handling techniques, preferably including the lifting and transferring of patients and the use of specialist lifting devices.
7. Committed to working a 7-day rotating roster.
