The Role We are seeking a passionate and motivated individual to join our AGFMA team as an Operations Administrator .
You will be responsible for supporting the Operations Team to ensure compliance and delivery across a range of processes and key objectives which are aligned to agreed client deliverables.
This role supports the Operations team across a range of financial administrative and support processes, which will include work order management, subcontractor invoicing, contractor support, record keeping, data validation, and maintenance administration.
The Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA) for the Government of South Australia provides facilities management services for over 3500 Government-owned sites across 25 Government Agencies.
Ventia will partner with local small to medium businesses to help deliver these services to the community of South Australia, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
This is a part-time, fixed-term role (contracted until 30th June 2025) Monday to Wednesday, 22.5 hour per week.
The role will preferable be based in our Adelaide CBD office, with flexibility to work from other locations by arrangement.

What you will be doing: Proactively monitor the status of dispatched work orders and support Operations to communicate with subcontractor to ensure receipt, acknowledgement and close-out of works ensuring works are closed-out in a reasonable timeframe.
Proactive support to Operations team in problem solving, investigating, and resolving subcontractor and client queries.
Effective use of systems (SAP, Panorama etc) to monitor KPI compliance, including generating and distributing ad-hoc and routine reports from any specific system and/or program.
Support the Operations Team in ensuring up to date client standards and procedures are made available across the team and contractor base.
Manage systems and processes to enable timely and accurate administrative recording, including filing, maintenance of Project registers, and other administrative activities.
Contribute to the development/upkeep of technical procedures, work instructions, inspection, and check lists.
Support the APY Lands contractor with the use of Ventia systems, applications and processes.
Arrange travel for APY Lands Operations Team.
Other reasonable activities as required for the role.
About you Tertiary qualification in Finance or Business Administration is desired but not essential.
Demonstrated understanding of SAP or strong aptitude to learn quickly.
Ability to use Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
Demonstrated understanding and practical application of relevant standards, regulations, and statutory requirements.
Experience in financial administration.
Previous experience in the delivery of trade services aligned with client requirements and specifications.
Exceptional verbal and written communication.
Ability to manage time frames and prioritise work effectively.
Ability to work well within a team.
