The Gold Fields Payroll team has an opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to join the team.
Role Details Reporting to the Supervisor Payroll, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive service to all GFA employees by providing an efficient, accurate, and timely payroll service and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Payroll Department's functions and capability.
This role is offered on a 9-day fortnight roster at our Perth corporate office on a permanent basis. For this role, we will consider full-time, part-time, or job share options.
Benefits include: Private Health Insurance AllowanceQuarterly Bonus SchemeFlexible work arrangements on offerSalary sacrifice optionsIncreased annual leave entitlementsEmployee referral program - $10,000 per successful referral!Employee Assistance ProgramLong service leave pro rata after 5 years of continuous serviceEducational assistanceAbout the role: Ensure accurate and punctual payroll services for GFA employees by meticulously processing and verifying pertinent documentation and transactions.Furnish professional and prompt customer support, offering precise guidance on payroll inquiries to GFA's People & Engagement (P&E) personnel, managers, and the wider employee community.Adhere to legal and regulatory obligations by conforming to regulations, statutes, and audits that impact payroll and P&E administrative procedures, encompassing PAYG, Superannuation, third-party disbursements, and SOX compliance. Timely and precise disbursement of reports and related data ensures compliance.Effectively communicate payroll prerequisites and timelines to GFA's P&E teams and employees, guaranteeing precise and timely handling of payroll paperwork, disbursements, and deductions. This secures accurate and punctual compensation for all GFA employees in every pay cycle.Maintain exhaustive personnel records for GFA employees, executing consistent and accurate information filing. Oversee file archiving and retrieval in alignment with GFA's archival protocol.Compile and furnish Payroll Reports to both GFA and GFL P&E Teams within predetermined timeframes.Foster constructive and fruitful interpersonal relationships internally and externally, fostering an environment conducive to accomplishing departmental objectives and targets.About you: Demonstrated expertise in Payroll AdministrationEssential familiarity with SAP HR / Payroll ModuleProficiency in utilising Success Factors Employee CentralIntermediate skill level in Microsoft Office suiteGold Fields is committed to achieving an inclusive workforce.
