The role

As part of our Finance & Admin group, the Office Coordinator will be the first point of contact and create the first impression of Saab Australia. Provide professional, efficient and effective office support to the Saab team and effectively coordinate and undertake the day-to-day needs of the Canberra office.

They will also provide administration support to the leadership team. Some ad hoc support is required across all business areas.

This is a Part-Time role with the following hours 10:00 - 15:00 Mon-Fri and equivalent to a 0.6 FTE.

Further, the successful candidate will: Undertake reception duties including answering and directing calls, issuing visitor passes.Support the leadership team with administrative tasks (including but not limited to calendar management, travel, expenses).Perform other duties as assigned by the Regional Manager – Canberra including staff events.Coordinate travel arrangements – both domestic and international, and provide support and overflow support to the travel coordinator based in SA.Provide general administrative support and assistance to other business areas as required.Liaise with building management in relation to building maintenance and associated issues.Undertake all associated on-site responsibilities and provide support to the Facilities and/or Security Officers as required.Effectively liaise with a range of key stakeholders – both internal and external. About You Your skills and experience will include: Demonstrated office administration experience.Diary/Calendar management experience (essential).Travel booking experience (desired).Event coordination experience (desired).Excellent demonstrated MS Office experience, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.Demonstrated knowledge of internet and intranet and overall high level of IT user skills.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.Strong internal and external customer focus (i.e. both staff and visitors) ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
