It would suit a candidate with a 'can do' attitude and an interest in events and marketing.What are the ongoing responsibilities of this position?The responsibilities of this role fall within two main areas: (1) general business support and management for the Franklin Templeton Sydney office and (2) Events and team administration support.General Office ManagementMonitor and submit general office maintenance requests when requiredAssisting senior leaders with travel bookings and email & diary managementAssist team with arranging complex internal and external client and stakeholder meetingsSupport the setup of meetings in the office and the technical setup of teams meetingsManage and reconcile monthly corporate card expensesPrepare team meeting agendas and logistics including minutes and actions when requiredAssist with the preparation of client presentations and briefing notes ensuring all documentation is completed to a high standardEffectively communicate with external clients and business partners in an efficient and professional mannerAssist with maintaining office kitchen, meeting rooms and copier/ stationery roomEnsure stationery and paper stockedExternal vendor managementParticipate in Annual Emergency procedures training and register as office fire wardenCoordination of couriers, deliveries, mail and postTeam SupportProvide support to team on internal / external client functions, including all logisticsMaintenance of various calendarsVenue management - including all bookings and cateringAssistance with staff and client registrations for internal/external eventsWhat qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?Minimum 5 years of prior experience in an Assistant or Office support roleKnowledge of CRM systems is an added advantageAdvanced knowledge in Microsoft Office SuiteA good understanding of the financial services industryExceptional written and verbal communication skillsConfident in communicating with clients and business partners of varying seniorityWell presented, able to demonstrate initiative and clear decision makingVery strong organisational and time management skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyExperience in events managementFranklin Templeton is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
