This includes comprehensive assessment and care planning in consultation with the older person, their family, carers, and current community services involved in their care.About the role:This role will provide Occupational Therapy services on Weekends.Reporting to the Director of Occupational Therapy, duties for the role will include:Providing specialised clinical Occupational Therapy services to maximise occupational outcomes of inpatients in the GEM Unit.Contributing to the development of an integrated team approach and culture which is highly responsive to the needs of our consumers.Communicating with clients, family, carers, and other service providers.About you:A degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.Demonstrated ability to assume responsibility for the provision of clinical Occupational Therapy services to a designated area as a member of an interdisciplinary team.Clinical experience in the provision of Occupational Therapy services to patients with a range of disorders and disabilities, particularly those with dementia and/or cognitive impairment.High levels of responsibility and organisational skills including the ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines, delegate appropriately.
