Community Occupational Therapist Independence First Occupational Therapy are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team!
About Us: We provide services to adolescents and adults aged 16 years and older in the community. Our aim is to provide high quality occupational therapy services to our clients, ensuring our approaches are goal orientated and client centered to achieve the best outcomes.
We provide a range of services including comprehensive assessments, assistive technology and equipment prescription, home modifications, therapeutic interventions, home safety and falls risks assessments.
About the Role: We are seeking an occupational therapist with experience or an interest in providing community-based occupational therapy services to adolescent and adult aged clients under various funding schemes including NDIS and Aged Care.
Key Responsibilities: Conducting assessments to identify clients' needs and goals. Developing therapy or treatment plans to improve independence, safety, and quality of life. Providing interventions/therapy sessions to support clients in achieving their goals. Liaising with multidisciplinary and medical teams. Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records. Completing written reports. About You: Confident communication and organisation skills. Ability to work well independently. Current Occupational Therapy AHPRA registration. Current Driver's License.
