About the Role Based in Bundaberg, this is an opportunity to provide quality Occupational Therapy services across Bundaberg and the Fraser Coast as part of an experienced and stable multidisciplinary team specialising in working with people with disabilities, their families and support networks. The role aims to offer the best of both worlds – work autonomously but be situated within a team that can mentor, support and brainstorm where you need it as well as receiving regular supervision that is focused on helping you identify and knock down barriers to you doing your best work. The autonomy of the position means that flexible working arrangements are available and can be tailored to what works for both you and CLS. The role provides an opportunity for people wanting to specialise or extend their experience in working in a person-centred approach within the disability sector. Mandatory Requirements A relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy.Current registration with AHPRA (or ability to register prior to commencing work).A pre-employment functional assessment is required as part of the application process.Ability to navigate, apply and adhere to CLS policies and procedures, including Workplace Health and Safety and Risk Management Procedures.The position requires some travel between Bundaberg, Hervey Bay and Maryborough.Proof of Covid-19 vaccination status, or ability to obtain prior to commencement of employment.Current Driver's Licence (C-class).Be eligible for or hold a Working with Children Blue Card.Be eligible for or hold a NDIS Worker Screening Check or Positive Notice Card Yellow Card.Highly Desirable Experience in working with people with disabilities.Experience in complex seating and home modifications.Assistive technology.Working knowledge of the NDIS.Applied First Aid.Benefits Attractive salary under the Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2020 (level negotiated based on experience).Salary packaging options $15,899.90 ($30,000 grossed-up) per FBT year.Professional development budget.Work-life balance with flexible working hours.High degree of autonomy whilst providing opportunities to collaborate with experienced practitioners.Organisation-funded access to Employee Assistance Program.To apply for this position, please submit a cover letter that addresses the key selection criteria (below) along with your resume.
