The Nurse Led Walk in Clinic will provide assessment, treatment, and advice to adults and children (aged over 2 years) for non-life-threatening injuries and illness, as well as trauma-informed, women-focused services, 7 days a week from 8am to 10pm.
About the role:The Nurse Practitioner role will complement the existing Gladstone Hospital Services by providing improved health care access, early intervention, and treatment for non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses for the community.
Provide quality urgent, same-day healthcare services for minor injuries and illnesses for the community.Provide person-centred, efficient patient care underpinned by evidence-based practices.Support local primary care services to meet the demands of the community.Empower patients on their personal health journey.About you:Mandatory qualification/s: Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and/or registration with the appropriate registration authority, including any necessary endorsements, to be provided to the employing service prior to the commencement of duty.Demonstrate autonomy, accountability, and competence for expanded practice in providing client-focused care within a nursing model including advanced health assessment of consumer's/patient's clinical condition, development, and implementation of appropriately documented management plan.Provide specialist nursing interventions that demonstrate an expanded level of nursing knowledge and skills in the practice area of urgent, same-day healthcare services, and for minor injuries and illnesses in the community.Demonstrate the ability to promote, undertake and support research activities to support improved client care and best practice.What we offer:Salary information: Total remuneration value of up to $177,797 p.a. is comprised of:
