An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Nurse Practitioner Candidate (Oncology) to join the Oncology Day Unit Team at the Hervey Bay or Bundaberg Hospitals within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland.
Your opportunity: The Nurse Practitioner Candidate (NPC) is a registered nurse who is undertaking an accredited university Nurse Practitioner Master level program leading to endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board Australia and who is employed as a Nurse Grade 7 in a Nurse Practitioner Candidate role within Oncology, Cancer Care Service, Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.The NPC further develops their advanced skills and knowledge to the extended clinical practice standards of a NP, under the immediate clinical supervision (whether direct or indirect) of a medical officer credentialed in Medical Oncology.Temporary Full Time Position (76 hours p.f.) from the date of appointment for 2 years. Our offer: You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $164,212 p.a., comprising salary between $132,562 - $143,924 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7) (Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., from the date of appointment for 2 years.)
