An opportunity has become available for a Nurse Practitioner Candidate (Cardiac Ambulatory) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12,000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will Provide advanced, comprehensive care for cardiology patients in outreach settings.Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve high-quality patient outcomes.Engage in research and quality audits to improve patient outcomes and efficiency.Work within the cardiology team to triage referrals into the service.About you To be successful in this position you will require:
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent.Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia.Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Hepatitis B.Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required.Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed.Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost).Flexible work options.Salary Packaging.Modern Facilities.Diverse Work Culture.12.75% super.17.5% leave loading.Permanent full time.Base salary ranging from $132,562 - $143,924 per annum.About Us The Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service Cardiology Service is a Clinical Service Capability Framework (CSCF) Level 6 Service based at Gold Coast University Hospital and operates ambulatory services at Robina campus.
The Cardiac Ambulatory service provides both inpatient and outpatient care and delivers inter-departmental consultation.
The service manages a Coronary Care Unit, Cardiac Catheter Suite, Clinical Measurements Unit and supports Cardiac Rehabilitation to provide optimal care and management for patients with Cardiac Diseases and associated health issues.
