About the RoleInfinite Aged Care is on the lookout for a skilled and passionate Nurse Practitioner with a keen interest in wound care to join our dynamic Quality, Excellence, and Governance team. This newly created role is an exciting opportunity to enhance the level of service we provide to our residents. Reporting to the Head of Quality, Excellence, and Governance, this flexible position offers the possibility of remote work but requires travel to our current and future sites across all states. The role involves a combination of on-site visits and telehealth consultations. This is a great chance to work in a supportive and forward-thinking environment where both resident care and professional development are top priorities.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive healthcare services, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions with a focus on wound management.Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.Collaborate with healthcare professionals for coordinated resident care.Educate residents and families on health management and disease prevention including wound management.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and develop clinical protocols.Review chronic wounds.Collaborate with high-risk residents and support clinical teams.Participate in conference calls and telehealth with all sites.Prescribe medications and therapies as per state regulations.About YouUnrestricted AHPRA Registration with endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner.Hold a Masters of Nursing (Nursing Practitioner) degree or equivalent.Minimum 3 years' recent experience as a nurse practitioner.Experience in Aged Care (highly desirable).Expertise in wound care.Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practice.Excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and a genuine passion for best outcomes for our consumers.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Comfortable using telehealth technologies, electronic medical records, and Medicare billing.Ability to manage work schedule and carry out Medicare billing.Willing to travel across current and future sites nationally.A valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or have the ability to get one).What We OfferFitness Passport.Career growth opportunities within a strong mentoring team culture.Free access to in-house/online training and professional development programs.Supportive, positive team environment with a strong, caring work ethic.Companywide safety-first workplaces for our residents, families, and staff.Access to family-friendly benefits like our EAP, novated care leasing, and Flare (employee discounts).Who are we?We are a rapidly growing leader in residential aged care with facilities in Queensland, NSW, and South Australia.
