About the OpportunityWe currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Safety & Quality Unit (SQU) team as a Nurse/Midwife Patient Safety Consultant, where the successful applicant will:
Use their clinical knowledge and experience to identify clinical risk from investigations of deaths, patient/client incidents and adverse events at the Women's and Children's Health Network (WCHN).
Initiate and monitor systems that will ensure adherence to all clinical reporting requirements and the effective functioning of committees and processes that support incident and mortality review and analysis.

Design and conduct effective education programs.
Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing/midwifery practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
Demonstrated experience in management and leadership roles.
