Lindsay Transport is currently seeking dayshift Allocators to join our National Transport Office based in Coffs Harbour.

The Opportunity:

This role is an integral member of our National Transport Office Team and will be responsible for the successful running of our Linehaul operations. The primary purpose of this position is liaising with the drivers, operations staff, compliance and customers.

In this role you will be responsible for:


Allocation of drivers and scheduled runsCommunication of departure and arrival times with driversKnowledge of driver fatigue and mass in accordance with legislative requirementsMaximising the utilisation of fleet to achieve optimal operational efficiencyImplementation and enforcement of processes and business rulesEnsuing drivers conduct is in line with company policies and proceduresAchieving customer satisfaction and quality service by ensuring all "on time" driver performance Lindsay Transport is currently seeking dayshift Allocators to join our National Transport Office based in Coffs Harbour.

This role is offered on a day shift roster arrangement which may include weekend work. Please advise our recruitment team your preferences in regard to rosters.

To succeed in this role, we anticipate you will be able to demonstrate:
Prior administration experiencePositive attitude, great customer service and relationship building skills.Solid computer skillsHave good organisation and planning skills.The ability to undertake a range of administrative tasks.
These additional skills & experience are highly regarded but not essential:
Previous experience in a similar role including working with temperature-controlled freight.Familiarity with fatigue, speed, mass and maintenance requirementsSound knowledge of metropolitan and regional freight networks
