About You We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us continue our growth in the Oceania Region. You will be at the forefront of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy to drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.
To excel in this role, you should be an active listener, possess a compelling sales personality, and have a hunger to chase and close new business from cold calls and inbound warm leads, focusing on security products in the vertical segment. Ideal candidates would have a background in CCTV security integrators, distributors, or consultants.
About the Role Your job as a Channel Sales State Manager is to identify sales leads, pitch the Dahua Technology range of products to new clients, and maintain a good working relationship with new and existing contacts. You will be required to spend a significant amount of time visiting clients and attending networking events. You'll usually work office hours, Monday to Friday, but there are often times when work outside normal hours is required. A generous remuneration package, including an incentive plan and car allowance, is on offer to the right candidate.
Your Responsibilities Follow up on new and existing business opportunities and arrange business meetings with prospective clients. Plan and prepare customer presentations. Communicate new product developments to prospective clients. Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction. Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives. Build and develop detailed business plans, identify key partners, accounts (system integrators, big installers, distributors), and end-users. Develop and implement annual and periodic sales activity plans, adhering to Dahua Technology's best practices. Professionally represent Dahua Technology at conferences, meetings, and industry events. Work calmly and professionally under pressure, demonstrating a high level of agility. Exhibit excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage complex projects and multi-task. Requirements A minimum of 5-8 years of proven work experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role in the surveillance and security market. Proven sales track record in acquiring new business and achieving company goals in the surveillance and security market. Excellent verbal and written skills with a high proficiency in English. Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software. Knowledge of the security and surveillance market will be highly regarded but not mandatory. Strong time management and planning skills. Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, or a relevant field. Ability to work to multiple deadlines while remaining calm under pressure.
