The Opportunity
Thanks to a period of rapid growth, an outstanding new opportunity has been created for a National Sales Manager to help lead them into a new era.
Reporting to the Managing Director and leading a team of 7 which includes Account Managers, BDM's, Marketing and Customer Service, the purpose of this role is to support the team to be their very best and create opportunities for growth, improvements and strategic expansion.
The location for this role is flexible and can be based out of Leeton, Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne.
Day to day:
Forecast, track revenue, report on activities and identify trends
Accompany the team on key client visits, new and existing
Lead, manage and mentor the team and implement improved systems and processes
Identify new territories and opportunities for expansion
Oversee large tenders and ensure client satisfaction and contract renewals
Collaborate with the other department heads such as operations, finance, HR, safety and innovation.
About You We are looking for an experienced sales leader with exposure to the mining or industrial sectors. The ideal person will have a strong track record of expanding territories, exceptional client and contract management, experience leading, mentoring and growing sales teams.
Experience and knowledge of tyres and wheels is highly desirable
Ability to travel to mining sites across Australia semi-frequently
Experience using Pipedrive CRM would be ideal but not essential
A track record of driving interdepartmental collaboration
