New Home Consultant

Details of the offer

Stroud Homes Coffs Harbour is an award-winning new home construction company. We are looking for an additional new home consultant to join our existing sales team.
We are looking for someone that most importantly fits in with our existing team, is good at talking to and listening to people; has a keen interest in new home construction, and is willing to ensure clients are given accurate information for their block of land, home design, budget, and family.
Please apply if:
You are available to work 3 weekends per month: Saturday and Sunday 10am to 4pm. Most of our clients visit the display home on weekends and you need to consistently be available to meet them. The days of work are to be negotiated with the successful applicant. You enjoy talking to and listening to people. You are computer literate and able to learn new programs, processes, and procedures; with on-the-job training. You can accurately document conversations and changes to plans. You are generally outgoing and positive with a can-do attitude. You know how or want to learn all aspects of how a new home comes together, from the site inspection/soil tests and contours to the final touches that make a house a home. You value honesty, integrity, and giving clients accurate information. About this role:
Our New Home Consultants are responsible for:
Opening and closing our display home on weekends. Greeting and assisting visitors to our display home on all days of work. Social media posts and lead generation (with assistance from the rest of the team). Keeping advertising materials available in our display area and ordering as required from our head office. Assisting clients by conducting site inspections on their blocks or potential blocks and assessing suitability for their chosen design, suggesting designs that fit within their budget and family or personal requirements, helping clients to modify plans and submit for quoting. Liaising with our contracts administrator to get clients' DA applications lodged and plans accurate prior to colour selections. Liaising with our builder to ensure a client's home will fit their block and be suitable to meet their needs. Liaising with our estimator to ensure quotes are accurate and reflect what the client wants in their home. Light cleaning duties: dusting, vacuuming, cleaning of the staff kitchen area. General administration tasks, laminating, answering phones, shredding, printing. All training for this role can be provided on the job. We have a great team and work culture and are looking for someone that fits in with the existing team as a priority.
