You'll play a key role in launching a state-of-the-art Core Processing Facility, leveraging cutting-edge technology to revolutionize our operations. Your main responsibilities will include: Lead a High-Performance Team: Manage and inspire a team of geology technicians to process up to 1200m of diamond drill core daily, from the world-renowned Golden Mile, with further growth expected over the coming years. Streamline Operations: Collaborate with teams of geologists and geotechnical engineers to prioritise core processing, ensuring smooth & efficient workflows, with zero backlogs. Field Supervision: Oversee field geology technicians in preparing surface drill pads for diamond and RC drilling across the KCGM portfolio. Required skills and experience: Core Processing Expertise: Independently & optimally manage a fully functional core processing facility. Technology Integration: Investigate, trial, and incorporate new and emerging technologies to enhance productivity and cost-efficiency. Collaborative Communicator: Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adapting to various communication styles and working effectively with diverse teams.
