• Full time fixed term role until 31 December 2026. Band 7: $103,212.80 to $113,008.43 plus superannuation.

About the Role Noojee has been identified as one of 11 communities significantly impacted by the Forestry Transition Program. Over the last 18 months the community have been actively engaged in diversifying local employment opportunities and creating a future for the region that is aligned with the community's values and unique local assets. This role will assist the community to prepare for their future through economic diversification planning to support their local economy and transition to new, sustainable industries. About the Successful Candidate The successful candidate will: 
• Have experience and/or qualification in economic development, project management, change management and/or community engagement. 
• Have a sound understanding of Noojee and the broader Baw Baw Shire and its growth opportunities. 
• Build relationships with a variety of key stakeholders from Community, Business and Government Representatives. 
• Plan, manage and deliver community events and capacity building activities.
• Actively promote and drives change to overcome barriers and gain support.
